SUMMARY:
Tea tree oil has recently received much attention as a natural rememdy for bacterial and fungal infections of the skin and mucosa. Several published studies have recently demonstrated tea-tree oil's antibacterial effects. The results of this study concluded that tea tree oil is useful in the treatment of yeast and fungal mucosal and skin infections.
