SUMMARY:
Bleeding of the gums during probing is an important indicator for detecting the presence of periodontal disease. This study compares the number of bleeding during probing gum sites in the mouth with participants that used and those that did not use a toothpaste and mouthwash that contained chlorine dioxide.
